Ever since aluminum was first introduced as an engineering material in the late nineteenth century, aluminum roofs have been seen across the world. The many advantages of aluminum roofing are clear wherever people may go. Even still, this kind of metal roofing is most popular in the United States and in Great Britain. American travelers would be hard pressed to find an aluminum roof in England, though, so long as they were looking for it by that name. The British actually call it an 'aluminium roof' instead. They add the extra 'i' in the word for some unknown reason. The weird spelling doesn't detract at all from the amazing properties that the material has. If you decide to move to a different country, don't think that aluminum roofs are unavailable, they might just be referred to by a different name.
