There are over 50 different Bob the Builder characters available to choose from, but only a few are well known. Bob is obviously the main character and he does tend to be the most popular. However, there are a few other characters that children seem to love.
Bob the Builder Vehicles
The vehicles in Bob the Builder are by far some of the most popular characters available. Helping Bob to fix numerous problems, each vehicle has its own purpose.
The main machine that leads the others is known as “Scoop”. This yellow backhoe loader is well known for the catchphrase “No prob, Bob!” Then there is Dizzy. This bright orange concrete mixer is well known for its catchphrase “Brilliant”. She is the youngest machine in the cartoon. Muck is also another favourite as he is always getting into sticky situations. He is a red bulldozer that also has a dumping bed. His catchphrase is “Muck to the Rescue”. Finally Lofty is another favourite as he lacks confidence. Thanks to encouragement from the rest of the machines, the blue crane’s catchphrase is “Uh....Yeah I think so!”
Bob the Builder Humans
Bob is the main human character and his famous catchphrase is “Can we fix it?”. He owns his own construction yard and he is well known for forgetting to turn on his mobile phone. He has a cat called Pilchard and his forgetfulness tends to get him into a lot of bother.
Wendy is another popular human character and she is Bob’s business partner. There is a slight romantic tension between Bob and Wendy in some episodes of the popular cartoon. The only other human character is Farmer Pickles. He lives nearby and often helps Bob with his projects.
