Your wedding can be the most elegant event that can happen in your life. In my case I wanted to shine in my wedding. I wanted everything to be beautiful so that it can create beautiful memories not only for me and my groom but also for our guests. I was so nervous that I do not think I could walk straight in my stilettos. It was a good thing that I bought bride flip flops as a back up plan in times like these.
I was the type of woman who barely wore heels. I preferred flats and wedges. But what I preferred to wear the most are flip flops. This light rubber foot wear always give me the maximum comfort that I need. It is able to give me the protection that my feet needs while walking while giving me the feeling that I was not wearing anything at the same time.
So when I went to the wedding boutique to look for the perfect wedding shoes and saw the new rack set aside for wedding flip flops I immediately went over to check them out. If you asked me before whether I would wear flip flops in my own wedding I would say yes but that would be improper. There was nothing improper about what I saw before me.
The flip flops that I saw in the racks were embellished with crystals, beads, rhinestones, satin ribbons, sequins – the works. Some of them were even more expensive than the stilettos that were on display beside them because they had real gems in them. I tried a pair of bride flip flops and found that they were very soft and comfortable. The cushion I felt was so irresistible to my feet compared to what I feel every time I put a stiletto on.
However my Mom wanted me to wear shoes so I chose one and as an after thought grabbed the pair of wedding flip flops that I was attracted to the most. I was glad that I did though because by the end of the wedding ceremony and after a million picture shots, my feet were killing me.
Just when I thought I would not be able to survive another minute in my stilettos I had my bride flip flops fetched and slipped on them before we went to the reception. The relief was very comforting. Thanks to the flip flops, I was able to party the night away with my friends and hit it on the dance floor. No one even noticed that I had flip flops on.
