I’m Not Even Buying Cheap Purses for Now

I went for a walk with a friend of mine downtown the other day and we were window shopping for cheap clothes and cheap purses.  I emphasize window shopping because I have decided to limit myself to one purchase per month related to clothing or accessories until September.  I want to see if I can notice a difference in how well I can make it to the end of the pay period without running out of cash.

Sometimes, even when I try to bargain shop, I notice that looking back at a full month's purchases, I've still managed to spend a couple of hundred dollars on things I thought were great deals.  It is just a case of little things adding up over a bit of time and I am really going to be watching where the money goes now.  I think a lot of people nickel and dime their money away like this.  They might want to try a similar experiment with me.
