You heard it right, that fast food grease mongering burger conglomerate is not trying to change its image. McDonald's has become health conscious these days because the market is calling for it. The more people want soy latte's and low fat sandwhiches the more McDonald's is going to try to reimagine itself as a healthy food option. Don't buy into the hype, their burgers are still loaded with fats and grease and they are far from healthier alternatives, but they are doing one good thing: they are offering a cheap pedometer watch.
Now you can eat a burger at McDonald's, buy a pedometer watch there, and then count how many steps it takes for you to be completely out of breath. Isn't that fantastic? Okay, I'm being a little sarcastic but really, a pedometer is a great way to get into shape. Even if you buy the one from McDonald's you are making a committment to healthier living. Now you just have to see how many steps it takes to get to the Wholefoods Market and never go back to the McDonald's ever again.
