Fixing up the holes in the front yard for the goodness only knows how many time it occurred to me that there is a much better option these days. The manufacture of artificial grass turf with more natural materials and a great look makes it a more approachable alternative to the poorly presented brown mess that adorns a lot of front yards in the neighborhood.
Picking up the detritus that constitutes the “lawn” is just getting beyond a joke. No-one is fooled any more. The dead husks that some people like to call grass just don’t cut it any more. Actually, they do cut it, but only when you’re not wearing any shoes.
You might as well have something that looks a bit like grass if all you’ve got otherwise is the embarrassing desolation that currently sits on top of the rock hard dirt in the front yard.
