If you are an insomniac, then you are no doubt familiar with just how lonely the overnight hours can be. More often than not, the insomniac is forced to “go it alone” throughout the night, often times with nothing and no one to keep him or her company other than a book or magazine, or perhaps the comforting glow of the television or computer screen. As lonely as these nights have been, if you have an internet connection, than modern technology will see to it that you never need to go through the night alone again. Thanks to the net, chat rooms and other online communities exist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and you can find anything you’re interested in from kitten care blogs to interesting guitar forums. On these sites you can meet and chat with others who share your interests (And likely your insomnia as well) and you will quickly finding yourself making new friends and, at the very least, you will find your insomniac nights to be a little less lonely.
