In nearly every corner of this great nation of ours, a new fad is making its way into the living rooms, back yards, pet stores, and Kennel Clubs of America. This new trend is the raising of hip and trendy “specialty” or “designer” dog breeds such the Havanese. Originally bred from a stock of old type Bichon dogs originated on the Caribbean island nation of Cuba, this hearty member of the toy standard is quickly catching on as a popular dog: both as family pet and champion show dog as well. The Havanese breed is known to have a wonderful and friendly temperament, which is obvious from birth, and helps to make Havanese puppy care a tad bit easier than raising most puppies. In fact, these little dogs are so eager to please their masters that often times they will seem to actually anticipate your commands before you make them. If you are currently in the market for a new puppy, definitely be sure to check out the ever cute and cuddly Havanese.
