There are a lot of great things in life that are free like sunshine, love, and free shed plans. OK, so maybe free shed plans don't rate up there with sunshine and love, but when you want to build a shed they are kind of nice to have.
When you are using free plans for anything you want to make sure they are complete. They need to have a detailed schematic (the diagram thingy), instructions that are comprehesible and a supply list. With free plans you don't always get the bells and whistles of detailed plans and I wouldn't want to use free plans for building a house, but for a basic structure like a shed, they work very well.
One of the things to keep in mind when you are looking at building with free plans is to make sure they are really free. You don't want just the first half and then have to pay for the rest. A good source for these are sites like popularmechanics.com and other online magazines.
