If you want to experience everything the theme parks have to offer, then you need to do a lot more than just go on the Walt Disney World rides. The parks have all kinds of great shows and parades too. With the exception of Epcot, all of the theme parks have a couple of great parades every day. Be sure to see Spectro-magic at Magic Kingdom. It's a lot like the old Electrical Light Parade.
There are also some spectacular fireworks and laser light presentations. I love Reflections of Earth at Epcot and then there's Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios. Fantasmic is a lot more than a laser light show. It's live action theater as well and is really a can't be missed attraction in the parks. Just be sure to get there early if you want to get a great seat. This is a very popular attraction.
