You can collect coins, postage stamps or notes and they are durable items. But the most difficult thing to collect is glass because of its fragile nature for one, but also because it is very dangerous. Glass tends to be collected in bottle form but it can be flat sheets too and some collectors like collecting lead stained glass which features in chapels, cathedrals and churches. Collectors of antique glass bottles are an exclusive club as it is quite an expensive (and some would say odd) hobby. Unlike stamps and coins antique glass bottles are hard to find and store and you are unlikely to find one on a beach. That said many wonderfully colored glass bottles can be collected (even slightly damaged ones) to make a beautiful collection and can be a distinctive addition to a room as well as a central talking piece.
