This is a bizarre term, that always seems to come up around Christmas time. I'm not sure where I heard it the first time, but wrap rage is very real and prevalent in our culture. I'm sure you've all experienced it at one time or another, and maybe just didn't realize it. I know I have, as it's those times when it seems to take a big pair of scissors and lots of brute strength to open up the silliest of little things. An it's usually those expensive little electronic gagdgets that are packaged mostly in them. The packaging is often referred to as clam-shell packaging. It's big clear plastic often bubble shaped, that is sealed along the edges. It makes it darn near impossible for shoplifters to steal them, and for buyers to get them open once they get them home. Not the greatest of inventions.
