There are a lot of opinions about homeschooling out there and it starts with the kindergarteners. However, this is the time to start enjoying your schooling time with your kids. First, have fun with it. Get out the paints, have fun with snacks, and go outside and run around. After all, now is the time to have fun while learning, but to be learning more from having fun is important.
Skip a whole curriculum at this age. Buy a few pieces, but don’t overwhelm your child and yourself trying to make it through an entire curriculum.
