Using a Stair Chair Lift

Depending on the model of stair chair lift that you buy, the way that the lift actually operates can vary a bit. In general though, all you really do is sit in the chair and get a firm grip for safety. Once you are settled in, you would then use the controllers to move the chair up or down the stairs. When you get to your destination, you will want to carefully get off the chair. There will be certain models that will allow you to turn the chair away from the stairs in order to make getting off the chair a bit safer and more easily. Of course, you will want to read the owner's manual for specific directions on using this handy machine. Used correctly, it can be the best thing you have ever bought.
